Although ECS Staff has
tremendously broad knowledge of E-Commerce opportunities, issues, and
requirements, they have enjoyed their greatest successes to date in the
following areas:
 | Volunteer
group coordination and facilitation for standardization of data messages,
communications protocols, industry guidelines, etc. This includes
administration of the process and leadership of goal oriented groups.
Special expertise in planning, scheduling, and leadership has led to
unprecedented success in meeting short timeline objectives. |
 | Situation
analysis, opportunity assessment, and strategy development are most
successful with the unique process developed by ECS. The process targets
E-Commerce and information management objectives while suppressing the
normal dominance of existing organization structure. Penetrating the company
infrastructure and facilitating the flow of information across the
enterprise are key to the strategic application of E-Commerce, especially
when extended from the supply chain to sales and distribution channels. |
 | Supplier,
and/or distribution channel management for E-Commerce implementation.
Effective rollout of E-Commerce initiatives requires excellent planning
based on realistic expectations (experience required), and understanding of
trading partner objectives, thinking and challenges. The Win/Win nature of
E-Commerce demands new thinking which has been demonstrated over and over by
ECS consultants. |
 | E-Commerce
education and training are generally lacking in the business community, and
are highly critical for trading partners of major companies implementing
E-Commerce programs. ECS has uncommon ability to develop targeted training
for trading partners or employees, that presents the topics in very
understandable, non-technical terms that make complete sense. This can be
seen from articles available in the library section of this web site. |
